My Food, My Power is a partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC). The AjA Project works with participants of the refugee job training social enterprise, Project CHOP, to create a series of portraits reflecting individuality and identity through cultural cuisine. Through photographs participants showcase their prepared traditional dishes while creating a colorful environment to proudly represent the power of food in a way that not only serves as a touchstone of past experiences and relationships, but also as a connector to the environment, health and the economy.
