The AjA Project STEAM OnDemand program uses the camera as a tool to explore science, technology, engineering, art and math. Through a variety of photographic processes, participants will learn about the history and evolution of photography. Students will explore personal and professional transformation, through the production of images, in a series of virtually guided workshops.

Each program includes a workshop box to accompany a virtual hand-on demonstration, open studio time and time to discuss the results of their projects. Synchronous.
We are here to meet community needs and offer virtual LIVE courses that provide face-to-face course via Zoom, Google Chat or equivalent. This courses can be integrated into your regularly scheduled class meetings or after-school programming.
Asynchronous.
We are here to be flexible with students and sites that need a more open schedule. Our Teaching Artists can design a pre-recorded session that works in tandem with your existing curriculum.. These OnDemand videos are accompanied by a weekly schedule for virtual Offices Hours.
Offline.
We are here to listen to students that want to engage offline. We have an offline computer-free experience with the STEAM OnDemand program. Each box will include an easy-to-follow instructional Zine, designed to walk you through the project for individual or group use.
Images of the Future.
Create images of you future self in our green screen workshop that explores virtual background technology. This class also serves as an interactive introductory course on using the Zoom platform as a virtual discussion and creative art-making tool. This workshop will help students to think critically about the heads of their community to re-imagine and transform new careers, then make those ideas come to live via media arts.

This hands on activity will show you how to produce your own light activated paper, to record an image or drawing, of a person, place or thing that reveals something about your neighborhood.
